Crazy Tings We Do

One fine day, I was bored with work. I picked up my phone and sent out an invitation to a date. The sisters- Zhen Jie, Goli and Moi then declared 30th March, Monday as our holiday. So we took leave and did all we wish to. We went ktving, durian feast at Goodwood Park and Dinner. Enjoyable!!! =)

Again... on one fine morning while I was on my way to work, I texted Goli and asked if she was interested to go prawning. She was all enthu about it and 2 days later, we gathered 6 to go prawning from 10pm to 2.30am and spent the next hour finishing up all the prawns we had. We met a pro uncle beside us who was kind to share with us his secret weapon ---> worms for bait. He was also generous to give us abt 20+ prawns (out of his maybe 80 prawns he caught). So with the 10+ big prawns we caught, we had a good BBQ prawn feast.

Am looking forward to jio the same bunch to go prawning again. And hope to arrange one with my cousins too. =)

April is the honeymoon month for my 2 cousins. A pair is currently in Japan while another is flying to Europe soon. Am so happy for them. Looking forward to hear their stories and receiving gifts... heeee.. Well, i only long for a good break after hectic May. That's not greedy afterall, ain't it.

Disney On Ice

Teddy bought 2 tickets to Disney On Ice. Though it may sound a little kiddish for the already passed quarter life us, it is definitely something that can excite his wife. The theme this time round is "Princess Wishes". And after the lovely show, we sat in Brewerkz to catch how Liverpool thrashed Man U and next how Aresnal thrashed Black Burn... yaya... 2 matches in a row. Though I never approve of Liverpool, i enjoyed their triumph over the arrogant Man U.

We finally started (at a much relaxed pace for now) our wedding planning. We have booked our wedding car... and that is going to be my dream car!!! I can't wait to jump into it on 24th October. =) I am happy to have found some very enthu (close)helpers on my big day.

Oh ya, I am going to mention our new oven. It helped me make things like cheesey wings, salmon, toast, pasta, muffins... and of course the beneficiary is fatty Teddy. Am going to get some receipes from Huiying so that I can bake nice cakes with it. hoho.

Next, Teddy decided that my 5 year old lappie should retire soon and bought me a Fujitsu, which I am now currently typing on. Nice lappie with good speed (perhaps the old one was too overloaded with junks, hence speaks for it's lower speed.... opps =X)

Oh, by the way, Goodwood Park's durian pastries are back!!! so durian lover must go try ya. It's durian strudel (new product) is super shiok, I would say. It has a huge serving of durian paste... but please share it with someone or you will shun durian for the next few weeks. hee...

I am on leave tomorrow. Am super looking forward to it cos it's my gown selection. I hope i can pick something i like. =)

Celebrations =D

Chinese New Year With Loved Ones

Teddy and I woke up at 4am on new year eve cos we had a learn-to-cook date with grandma. I lo................oooooove the braised eggs my grandma cooks so we decided to "steal" the receipe from her. We seriously need another cooking lesson soon as we are only 50% there. *diao*

All is well this new year with fun time with my cousins and more time with my hubby. Oh oh.... 2 new members added to our reunion dinner =D *beams*

Not forgetting a gossipy dinner with my jie meis and their the other halves. We never fail to stop talking about the 2 bucks story... common "enemy". haha

Valentine's and Our 3rd Month Anniversary

My husband gave me a sweet celebration that started on Valentine's eve... He made me Friday breakfast and our Picnic western lunch all by himself. He surprised me with delivered bouquet and a lovely big gift, which he kept secretly. Nothing can describe my joy upon seeing the messages penned down in that lovely card. He also brought me to see my favorite animals... doggies! And... he made me happy with his beam when he received my craft. Thank You, Teddy! I heart you lots... *smooch* I hope marriage life can continue this way. =)

Bits and Pieces

Life have been pretty colourful for the past few weeks with all the happy celebrations.

Number 1... Moi birthday celebration =). It was a surprise for me as I was totally clueless on wad Teddy had lined up for me. It was a planned one night stay in Kranji Resort, Singapore one and only farmstay. Teddy prepared and brought over food for BBQ all by ourselves at our own private car porch. He was sweet enough to bake muffins (with microwave *faint*)and buy me a lovely gift.

Number 2... X'mas!!! with colleagues, jie meis and Teddy. Evan played a good host and chef for the jie meis celebration. =)*thumbs up*

Number 3... My dearest cousin Huiying's wedding. Am really happy for her, congrats!!! =). It was my first time being part of the Jie Mei Tuan and... the more scary role... emcee for the dinner. I hope i did at least an ok job... would not wan to disappoint the wedding couple.

Number 4... New Year! Happy 2009 to all.

Number 5... Our 5th... and celebration was back to where it started.

Lalalala.... except for work. Hmmm... lotsa uncertainties. Was placed in decision making stuggles. To stay, to leave, to switch section, to go for the interview, to start a job search???? Well, tings are still not solved but shall take tings one at a time. *Prays*

Lunar New Year is just a week away. I hereby wish all my readers happy festive and a wonderful moo moo year ahead. Cheers and huat ah!
