La La La...

I bumped into Ryan last week outside his work place. Only then did i realise that he is working in the building beside where i am. =) We lunched this afternoon and I truely enjoyed myself throughout that hour. Listening to him is inspiring and i learnt alot (from treasury ops, life perception and travel) from him. I am glad to know that he is doing well in his career. Hope to see him real soon again. =)

Met up with Zhen Jie after work. After passing the ai4 xin1 bian4 dang1 to my Teddy, Zhen Jie and I headed to dim sum dinner. Feeling good to see that Zhen Jie enjoyed the food... she even da bao for tml breakfast... haha. Zhen Jie is just like my elder sister (or maybe mummy... hee :X), miting up with her is always that comfortable. =)

It's Gen's birdae and she is currently in UK. I am now chatting with her over msn =). She is my girlfriend!!! We are always sending hugs and kisses to each other *warmth* Gen, happy 22nd and looking forward to see you in July.

I thank Ryan, Zhen Jie, Teddy and Gen for making my day.

Feelings

Belle was happier at work today.... enough said =)

I went home straight from work to catch the last episode of xing4 fu2 shuang1 ren2 chuang2. Envy "Ling" and "Ziling" in the show. So sweet of them.

Looking Forward

Belle is looking forward to the Beijing trip this coming Wed. Not bcos of the destination (China has never been my preferred location)... but bcos i really need a getaway from my work. Seriously, I started work too early... i can feel it... can't really perform and give off my best at work. I hope i can have an enjoyable trip (plus my wonderful NZ experience) to compensate for all the rest i have missed. I hope to have a great time with Teddy (with no arguement, no work related topic and with all the loving stuff- just like back to the Langkawi time). I wonder if this little wish of mine can be fulfilled.

I will be back on the 4th June. =) After which, i shall excel in my work!!! I believe i can.

Food Fare in Expo

I worked the earlier shift (8.30am) on Friday cos my senior went for her children's Parent Meeting Session. Dear dear met me for BK breakfast... my fav! That is smthing worth remembering cos it was my first breakfast on a work day. That was a very sweet and good way to start another stressful day.

Work on Friday was comparably enjoyable cos there was nobody eyeing on my every movement and nagging behind me. He went to help out in another department, leaving me to work co-operatively with my senior.

Teddy accompanied me to the employment checkup on Sat morning and after which, we went to the food fair located in Expo. Out of curiousity, Teddy bought a can of "Anything"... it was coke in there... diao. I feel that the commercials for "Anything" and "Whatever" are creative and are successful in impinging deep impression.

Then the usual food... The must get every time we visit the food fair.

1. Taiwan gong4 wan2

2. Yam Paste from Teochew City Seafood Restaurant

Naughty Teddy "kok" a mascot head (the mascot turned to find the culprit... haha) and he wanted to "kok" another... peng.

We then headed to east coast for blading. It has been months since i last bladed but luckily din forget how to and i have Teddy there to hold onto me. Spot my Huang3 huang2 and Teddy's Lan3 Lan2 in the pic ... haha

Next we travelled to Suntec to join the midnite shopping. Shopped till drop!!! haha.. and not forgetting dessert time. =)

Sick Belle

Belle is sick for the 3rd dae. It started with ulcer, then sore throat, flu and cough... stress at work? maybe... My teddy bought me medicine and vitamins yesterday :)

I received a box of durian pancake at my door step a while ago. Tan4 bing4 with durian... haha. but thank u my friend.

Sunday... Uncle Ringo!!!

Fun at Uncle Ringo on a Sunday nite. First time for Teddy. We went up that Euro Wheel.

They are no longer using token in coin form.

The "lu4 lu4" we won. Size doesn't matter. hehee.. most important is the fun.

The Saturday

As planned, we headed for hi-tea at Inter Continental hotel. Ambience is excellant but food... aye... :X Anyway, it was a nice and relaxing hi-tea session, away from all the buzz.

I did some shopping and following that was arcade and bowling time. We had great fun =) The following score boards would tell the winner (The first row reads "Heng" and second row reads "Belle") ... haha...

First game...

Second game...

Oh ya... tai4 yang2 chong2 xi1 bian1 sheng1 qi3 lai2 liao. I bought a book!!! This is so impossible cos i hate to read. But i really wish to know more details about Phantom of the Opera. I watched the musical on Wed nite. Songs, lightings, costums, back drops, band, flow and effect were good! But seems like some scenes were cut. Wanna refresh my memory on wad i used to know about Phantom, so decided to read up on it. Another thing, the way leading to the threatre (Esplanade) is cool. Beautiful!

The Long Awaiting Weekend

Belle was ridiculously careless at work on Thursday... Maybe i just can't work under continuous reminders and naggings behind my back. I know my work alrite, but not as fast as YOU yet and not as familiar in some stuff that i have onli dealt with for once or twice in the past week. Morale= zero on that very dae. Felt more comforted after dining with Teddy, Mr Shrek after work... haha. pay attention to the lovely green shrek's ears. It was his nice effort to cheer me up.

A clearer pic of the pair of lovely green ears... ... hee

I was ok at work yesterday =) When i knocked off from work, i saw a Guai4 Bei3 Bei2 standing near the building entrance... haha... and he is my Teddy! (My love, just jokin alrite). So sweet of him to surprise me at my work place =).

We headed to Mushroom Pot located in Kallang. I miss the freshness of the chicken, fish... blah blah blah and the soup after my last visit with Gen. We were quite kua zhang, we ordered many many food. 4 servings of chicken, 3 servings of fish, 3 servings of da4 bai2 chai4, 1 serving of Kang Kong, 2 servings of paste (which Teddy enjoyed making into round ba4 chuo3, he is so contented that they are so round), 1 serving of sausage, 6 kinds of mushroom, 1 serving of pork and pork liver, 1 serving of prawn, ... aye can't rem liao... plus appetizer... but not as much as u might be imagining right now lah cos they serve in small quantity per serving.

We crossed over to Cosy Bay after dinner...

Enjoying ice-cream for the lovey dovey (the menu says so... haha)

We are going bowling, arcade and hi-tea later. dunno if we will stick to the plan so say tune for the updates.

Busy Weekend

Had our dinner at Genki on Friday nite. Nice and appealing food. The pot contained... soup!

I had a busy Saturday. It was enjoyable on the whole but too rush for a weekend. Racing against time definitely ruin my weekend.

I attended the wine appreciation course in NTU with Christabel. It was an informative session with a cute speaker. Christabel and i were helping ourselves with the biscuit, bread, nut, raisin and cheese throughout. hee... We also tasted the gooseberries, which i always thot is meant for decoration (it is the orange round fruit with leaves wrapping it, can be found as decoration on cakes). Well... it tasted like tomato. We both enjoyed the session. Christabel, right?

Teddy fetched me from school and we headed down to Vivo so that i could do some shopping for office wear. Next, we headed to boat quay to meet goli and zhen jie... and four of us went "partying" at Mind's cafe. We had a great time, with laughter filling the session... So finally, i have a chance to relax and let go of all the tension.

Sunday was great with my loved ones... my most respected ma2 ma4, my parents, my aunties and uncles, my cutest cousins (and their partners), and Teddy. We had a mother's dae lunch buffet at Holiday Inn. Food is not bad and dessert is good. Most importantly, we had alot of fun, especially when trying to decorate the dishes.

Well-decorated desserts...

The lovely cousins...

This was the art piece from the mighty cousins... I started with the dog's head (well, the rest mistook it as a bear), jie jie suggested it's clothes and hands, i think gor gor suggested the strawberry hat, huiying suggested the heart shape and hong yan the black berry. =) This is simply us, my lovely family having fun together.

Huiying wanted to hands on too and this was her masterpiece with jie jie contributing the idea of the red butterfly.

My family...

My ma2 ma4... =)

The most comical and yet sweetest siblings on earth...

Quan2 Jia1 Fu2 (aye, 4 more missing from the pic) ...

Next, we had a great bowling session. It has been donkey years since i last bowled. I did not bad in the 2nd round, with 86 points... haha, not bad for an infrequent bowler ok. After which, jie jie is kind enough to give me a lift home. =)

That concludes my weekend. Looking forward to the next.

Belle's Work Life

It was alrdy my 2nd dae at work and i was feeling more settled. For these 2 daes, i have been lunching with a group of 7 young colleaks (youngest is 21) and they are very welcoming. My shi1 fu4 for this week is one of them and he is very patient in answering my chim questions.

However, i doubt i can join them for lunch from next thursday onwards. I am expected to master my shi1 fu4's task by next Wednesday. Starting from Thursday, i will follow my senior's reporting time, 8.30am-6.00pm (9.30am-7.00pm for this week) and learn her tasks. She is a helpful lady but a little strict and stern. Am feeling a little uncomfortable about it.

Am feeling very upset upon hearing that no jeans is allowed on dress down dae(Dun you find it kind of stoopid to still call it a dress down dae?). Those who are close enough will know y i am feeling upset. To many, it is no big deal... well.

A thought kept running across my mind... Why do i start work in such a hurry, even if it is for THAT reason, is it worth it? I dun really know. I think i definitely deserve a longer rest.

It is really comforting to hear some of you commenting that the current job is a good start in the banking field and prospect is good. I sincerely thank these ppl for their encouragement. Well, others commented that i shld be able to get better "deal"... well, i think i dun need you to tell me this. Simply for 2 reasons. First, i am alrdy in it. Second, if it is that easy, you can go ahead.

I hope that I can master my tasks soon...
