Last Weekend

First was sushi-ing at amk ichiban and next was dessert-ing (at 1am) at changi airport.

We were lunching somewhere with good dim sum on Saturday =]

Met Zhen Jie on Sunday. She accompanied me to the tailor, while i accompanied her to collect race pack. We did not forget a short yet enjoyable shopping session along the way to the 2 destinations. Let's look forward to our run this coming Sundae.

A friend of mine left while doing his favorite sport. Though he was one i hardly contact, it is painful to lose such a cute, sweet, determined and positive friend. Through friendster, i get to see how much passion he held for his sport and how sucessful he was in it. When i heard the news over the radio on sat morning, i thought of him at once... but i comforted myself that it wouldn't be such a coincidence that he was one of the unfortunate (well, there are so many rowers out there)... i never expect him to leave so abruptly. Zixiang, you will be missed be us. Please rest in peace.

It hurts to view his friendster profile... when the figure under "last login" as well as the number of comments left by ppl who love him only increase and will never decrease again.

My Leave Seems so Short

I had an enyoyable Monday with my sistas. Theme of the dae was "tai tai dae" and we kind of lived up to it... *guilty* haha.

We had dim sum lunch at Vivo, hei1 se4 hu4 lao3 da4. The food is thumbs up! The must try is its queen of siew mai and custard bun. =) *Yummi*

We did quite a bit of shopping... and... i received my birthday gift!!! =) . Although the gift was lacking in some surprise element, i love it for 2 reasons : it a gift from my precious sisters and i am crazy over gems stuff recently.

Dinner was at Sushi Tei. Ambience was gooooo...ood!!, wif lots of privacy. Nice Unagi Ju too ;)


When we were travelling home, we chatted alot on our secondary school days. We recalled the bithday gifts received, how we used to spend our christmas together...etc. Those were indeed sweet memories =). I always thot that school life is someting that i dun wish to remember... i realised i was only half rite. It is the mugging and stressful time that made me frown. However, time spent with these sisters constitutes beautiful memory, which i definitely treasure =)

2nd day of my leave was spent in Audrey's, my hair stylist place. I colored my hair brown again! You guys must be tinking, such a weird time to do coloring since CNY is so far away... haha, can't wait lah. I will be going back on 8th dec ... to.... shh, prelude as below.

Mighty Cousins Picnic

Yippee... one week leave starts tml. Plans alrdy made for Monday, Tuesday and Friday. I will prolly go shopping for the remaining 2 days... gotta shop for the upcomin occasions... *excited*

Someting upsetting happened at work on Friday. I wonder y are humans so afraid to make mistake and admit when they have made one. Don't they find it guilty to hide or push blames? Well, they made me reveal the truth. Alrite, it's over... hope they learn from it.

Yesterday was our (the mighty cousins) picnic day. Everyone was present and each brought along some food to make this picnic possible. =) Though the slight drizzle ruin our plan to picnic on the spacious, green field... we managed to spot an unoccupied pavilion.

Little Sijia was the center of attraction. This one-year old plus cutie niece of mine is already walking... and she really loves to walk around.

I would say the picnic went well (except for the little grumble abt mosquito bites) ... perhaps we could organise a bbq or camping session in east coast next time round. *I will certainly not forget to bring along mosquito coil* =)

We had a nice dinner at vivo, hk cafe. Food is unexpectedly ok... hee, but wun change my view abt the one located in MS. When everybody headed home or out for party, Teddy drove me to changi airport and there we have my favorite cheesecake... that concludes a beautiful Saturday. =)

• BBQ at Lower Seletar... yup, juz the 2 of us.

• Nice lunch session with Teddy along the river, with lots of food. A vibrant, orange-gy daisy --> that brights up my desk =)

07 Nov (Wednesday)

• BBQ and Steamboat at Marina South... yes, i know... bbq again... but errmmm, it's a different form ya.
  

08 Nov (Thursday)

• Blading in east coast (Still waiting for some nice photos to be sent to me... will post it once i've received)... Saw ppl windsurfing, cable skiing and KITE BOARDING!!! it looks so interesting. Will i ever have the chance to try? Watching them makes me miss wakeboarding.

09 Nov (Friday)

• Jogging and prawning. Was feeling quite depressed for the zero catch but Teddy perservered and caught one prawn. =) that's the spirit i am lacking and which i like about him.

10 Nov (Sat)

• Our day. Dinner at "Mid Summer Nite Breeze"... wad a name, diao. Wanted to go to fisherman village, not knowing that it was alrdy teared dwn. But well, the food and ambience here is not bad also.


• and the long awaitng "Lust, Caution" after dinner. well, sausage and egg combi is lacking in sausage (hope you know wad i mean).. haha

Well, i din mean to dress like this chip munk. hee

That should mark the end of the lovely weekend. Prelude to next weekend : A cousin picnic!! That should be fun. ;)

Gunners vs Reds

We were sitting infront of the TV, dressed in our jerseys, with popcorns ready past midnite... waiting for the BIG game.

It was a draw... but Gunners should be considered the winner for the nite based on 3 reasons

1. It was an away game for Gunners
2. Reds goaled because of free kick (not through attack)
3. Gunners overall performance

Arsenal (11 games played) still tops the Premier League and Liverpool... 7th (11 games played). Bleh.
