Sick Again.... Arghhhhhh...

Belle got up feeling unwell yesterday, was feeling weak and giddy. When I reached office and spoke the first word, i realised i alrdy lost my voice. In the late morning, I was shivering under air-conditioned. It was this day where i dismissed the thot about lack of love in office.

3 colleaks of mine were urging me to go visit a doc and helped me in the enquiry of my medical card, which i have yet to receive and which i needed for claims. This afternoon, i received another colleak's msg to ask about my condition. Am feeling touched, seriously. =)

Fever has subsided. Sore throat and cough is still there though. I am reovering... =)This is my first medical leave since i started work. Did not expect this coming. :(

Upcoming Feasts???

Hmm... I am still waiting for my FYP feast with Shu E and Aaron... Aye, i guess it should be FYP & Graduation Feast now. Is it coming soon???

I miss Gen... She must be having fun in sweden. Waiting for her to be back to share her wonderful encounters and not forgeting our graduation feast.

I hope Shu E, Aaron, Gen and I will have the chance to take many many photos on our conocation. =)Waiting for this BIG day of ours.

Sun with Moon & My Stitch

Back to my weekly update... I gave Teddy my first pay treat to Japanese dining at "Sun with Moon". Nice ambience and great food (nicely decorated too)... Since we were placed on waiting list, Teddy and I shopped at the new plaza located at clake quay. Teddy bought me a Stitch *happy*... I like Stitch bcos of it's innocent eyes and disruptive character... hee. I can be disruptive at times, esp infront of Teddy. Perhaps, tis explains y i am somehow attracted to Stitch. Teddy also gave me a dessert treat (before dinner... aye, a weird sequence but doesn't really matter to us). Here are some of the photos we took.

Updates...

Mood todae: low, extremely low. Witnessed the ugly side of human. Feelin sad, disappointed, unfair and diminished. She made me believe how unpopular she is... I happened to be the victim. Was much comforted after sharing with Shiyun. Thank you, my friend.

Some updates for the week that just past...

Met up with primary sch cliques for dinner at HK cafe. Meifeng simply refused to take photos, next time must make her take one with us.

Got very sick after the dinner and Teddy had to rush me home.

Dinner with man in green on Friday nite... Food is not bad, dessert is good.

Feeling Greyish

Belle is sick... but i dunno exactly wad i am down with... physical discomfort and tiredness. Work requires 95 percent concentration but i am definitely not grumbling about it. It keeps my mind occupied and life is more purposeful. However, high level of concentration do play a role in draining me.

Went to shop abit after work just now... feeling strange... i love to shop and i seldom fail to bring home at least one bag... but i bought none just now. Perhaps i was too bothered by decisions making recently and i can't make any more, not even judging wad to buy. Dun really feel like talking to anyone too.

Am upset with myself and things going on ard me.

Happi Occasion~ Huiying's ROM!

I got up early on this very Saturday, dolled up and set off to Merchant Court Hotel. It was my tang2 jie3's ROM. I feel happy for her, wonder what she felt weeks before this very big day and on this very day itself. Anxious? Excited?

Gift from the cousins... Hmm... although not a very ideal gift, it's definitely filled with well-wishes deep from our hearts. Hope you and Ghee Ann will like it.

After the cermony, the cousins headed to Mind's Cafe. Great fun there... with games like Dinosaur (we were super noisy... with different people shouting "yi4 zhang1 yi zhang1, liang3 zhang1 liang3, san1 zhang1 san1 zhang1) haha...and cludeo.

After which, bowling!!! We had team challenge. Haizz... i did badly yesterday (the worst i have ever played)... but we had fun. We were there cheering for one another.

To conclude, I had a great day... a day where i can sense the bliss... Wishing Ghee Ann and Huiying bai2 tuo2 xie2 lao3 and happily ever after. =)

Beijing Trip

It is beyond my expectation that i would enjoy the trip this much. I took leave on 30th, slept in till 12 plus and then start packing my luggage. Meeting time at the airport was 3pm... hee, that's me. I always do last min packing.

30 May (Wednesday)- Flight to Beijing

• Managed to get window seats although we did a group check-in
• Entertainment on board- game challenges with Teddy =)
• Nice food as usual
• Arrival in Beijing
• A little accident between our coach and a van... witnessed how inefficient the China police is.. hahaha. Grabbed opp to take photos while they were trying to resolve the conflict

31 May (Thursday) - Day 1

• Tiananmen Square
• Forbidden City. We were all deceived by TV programmes featuring big rooms of emperor. All 9,999 were pretty tiny
• Toilets are stars-rated but their 4 star can't make it still =P
• 9 course lunch and dinner everday... One word to summarise their preference- SALTY *faint* They can't do without san1 chen2 rou4 everyday. They have limited variety of veg and fish
• Huton by Trishaws and Dumpling wrapping
• Tea presentation (Dr Tea) where we understand more about tea
• Night entertainment: The Legend of Kung Fu
• Received my surprised gift from Teddy- a pearl necklace i have been eyeing on =) *happy belle bcos of Teddy's effort*

(Friday) - Day 2

• Badaling Great Wall... Some steps are of knee cap height. We got our certification for climbing the great wall. Magnificant!

02 Jun (Saturday) - Day 3

• Tong2 ren2 tang2... Here we got to know more about our health
• Ice Palace
• Summer Palace- Where Cixi Tai4 Huo4 used to had her holidays... haha. Nice scenary
• Shopping... where u can find all kind of mao4 pai2 huo4... although i am a shopping lover, i din buy a single ting... it concludes all. haha
• Night entertainment: Laoshe Tea House (Nice tea, magic and kou3 ji4 performance)
• Went out in group to have rou4 chuan4 along the street... My first time to see "Hair Wash" services and "Cheng2 ren2 bao3 jian4" shops... aye, u shld know wad they do... services operating at nite

03 Jun (Sunday) - Day 4

• Zheng4 Yang2 Men2... our group met the feng1 shui3 da4 shi1, Yang Chen Yi who designed the suntec fountain. He was accurate in his comments
• Finally we tried Peking roast duck
• Temple of Heaven
• Coffee session with just Teddy =) Nice conversation
• Wangfujing Street, China's version of Orchard road
• Night Market. The vendors are selling exotic food like scopion, centipede, starfish *creepy*
• Another surprise from my sweetest man =)

04 Jun (Mon)- Departure

• Underground city... you will be amazed by how well designed this shelter from war is, given past technology
• Pearl boutique
• Departure... I fell sick on this very day (Felt nausea, had fever and muscle ache). I am fortunate to have Teddy to take excellant care of me. While i was near "sub-conscious" state in the plane, he was there by my side. Whenever i opened my eyes, i saw Teddy looking at me. *loved* Only until i popped medicine and felt better was he more relieved =)

On the whole, i learnt alot more about Chinese history. I witnessed the magnificant creations of the Chinese and i had fun with Teddy's colleaks. Most imptly, this is a very reassuring trip as i discovered that our three year relationship still continue to grow. =)
