Doc, What's Up?

Belle is down with flu for 3 days and hurting eye for 2 weeks and finally decided to visit the GP today. Ya, before that... someting "creepy" happened yest. The senior i hate most was sooooooooo sweet to buy me herbal tea. Not those cheapo kind but ling2 yang2 shui3, wow! To be honest, my hatred for her halfed for this very dae. I hope she did it sincerely cos she appreciated my turn up at work despite being sick (volume very high recently).

So... i left my desk for approximately 3 hours, went lunch and then headed to the clinic. I must say the doctor sucks!!! She basically knows nuts and displayed zero effort in answering my questions. Without much thought, she advised me to see a specialist. Worried Teddy then accompanied me to Mount E and "verdict" was... too long hours of contact lens that caused infection. hee... I was barred from lens for 2 weeks but i can alrdy picture myself without glasses in 2 days time. I promise to be extra careful though.

Well, am glad that it wasn't tear in corneal or smting along there... phew!!! Thank you Teddy for your trip down, i know u have tonnes of pending work. =)

Yup, would like to show another ugly but nice dish of Teddy's... Ta da!!!

Counting Down... ...

Just like any past year, i would always pop by chinatown near CNY. It's is perhaps the only place to experience the festive mood. I passed by the wayang stage (i pen abt last year) and came to remember that my blog is turning one soon!!! My blog has always been a platform for me to express my feelings since i am less expressive verbally. I hope that all my entries so far have not bore u, my supportive readers.

Yup, back to my night in chinatown... the nian2 huo4 are pretty much the same, the crowd is reduced though. One interesting ting that caught my attention would be the raree show. I am sure the older generation know and miss this. The narrative was done in an overly expressive manner *creepy* but the viewers seemed to be enjoying quite a bit. =)

Another highlight would be the famous ang moh's big fat sausage. Yes, finally tried it and turned out to be yummi. There is generous fillings of cheese (my Teddy's fav) *slurp*. See the anxious him in the queue? hee.

The very next day, i was back in chinatown for a dim sum feast in Hong Xing restaurant. It was my turn to treat the two comittee members of mao2 mao2 cong2 club (next would be back to ZC's turn). There is a short story of how i "founded" and named this small club of 3, which i shall not elaborate. I love the push cart concept but the food is not super duper good to mit my high expectation for dim sum. Well, most importantly, we enjoyed.

A little update on my major preparation. We started our location scouting. We inspected two locations and will be going for another two over this coming weekend. I gained some thoughts ever since the preparation started... the planning could be a very stressful experience without the help of one's partner. Initially, i felt i was all alone to do all the thinking (since i have more time to do so). I am glad that Teddy sensed this frustration in me and he is now trying to assure that he is with me in all little ways.

Random Updates

I took my first leave of 2008 on 10th and 11th. Needed a good break after slogging in office for 3 weeks.... alone to handle daily operations; reconcile charges and solve stationary issues. So here I am... sitting in front of my lappie, providing updates for the past 2 weeks. =)

30th Dec (Sunday)

I had a good catch-up with girlfriend at Vivo. =) Thanks sweetie for the gift and treat. Hope to meet up soon again for all the celebrations.

31st Dec (Monday)

I had a good dinner at Mushroom Pot to conclude the year. I went through a roller coaster ride through 2007 and all netted out to be a slightly above average year. The most memorable events would be my graduation, the entry to the banking industry and the "promotion" in my relationship. I hope that all the unhappiness experienced in year 2007 will not be repeated and I hope that those realistic wishes of mine could be fulfilled in 2008.

06th Jan (Sunday)

I tagged along to Tat Siong's parents visiting day at OCS. It is a very memorable place... I could remember years back when i attended Teddy's social night and the day i witnessed Teddy's passing out parade. This day, i had a chance to climb up that OCS tower, a tower which I used to teared upon sight whenever things dun go well in school. Teddy also showed me around to where he used-to bunk. *an unexplainable feeling*

10th Jan (Thursday)

It was our 4th Anniversay and Teddy was really sweet to arrange a fish reflexology session for us. =) It was a relaxed experience under soft-lights, undisturbed. The school of African Spa fish swam up and gently nibble on our feet. It was ticklish at first... hee but overall was an interesting experience. That was followed by a nibbling massage by the foot and shoulder reflexologist.

We went back to where we started for dinner. *sweet* is the word to sum it all. I am glad that Teddy love his gift and I am thankful for another generous pamper from him. =)

Finally, preparation is officially starting. *looking forward*

Christmas Season!

24th Dec (Monday)

I was the last in the Fixed Income section to leave... No choice, have to wait for meps system to close for the day while others left early thanks to the low trade volumn. I wasn't grumpy cos i was looking forward to meet the big brown bear.

We had a good Christmas eve feast in baker's inn. I heart the warm chocolate cake! Surprisingly there was no queue at all. =)

25th Dec (Tuesday)

It was a very wen1 xin1 Christmas picnic with lots of good food =) *sweet* Aye... curry fish head was spotted in the pic. I know it is a quirky addition to the occasion... but i was craving for it and it was nice of Teddy to prepare it.

26th Dec (Wednesday)

Full attendance for the sisters gathering at Waraku! It was followed by a drink session at Orchard Mandrain... Nice Catch Up!!! I am looking forward to the next.

27th Dec (Thursday)

Ying Wai gave a treat to Riverside Indonesia Seafood Restaurant *slurp*. It was an enjoyable dinner (though a little disturbed by a really mao2 de3 mao2 mao2 cong2... haha) Thank You Ying Wai.... but... but it is my turn next and the guys have alrdy decided to kan3 me at Hong Xing Dim Sum restaurant.

29th Dec (Saturday)

I am an owner of the following asset. Thanks to Teddy... who decided to get me one in order to keep me occupied and stop me from worrying sooooooooooooooo much.

On the very same day, we headed to vivo... and had nice chocolate ice-cream in a nice little undiscovered shop. I love the furnish, the chocolate-ty ice-cream, the little box, the cookie-making set and it's t-shirts.

It is a super duper well-spent week... isn't it? ;)

Feelings 101

My current feelings... lost? worried? disheartened? neutral? aye, no idea. blah.
